More than 70 companies participate in NDIM placement drive; average salary stands at Rs 4.6 LPA

The New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM) has announced its placement outcomes for the 2025–26 academic session, with over 121 students securing job offers so far.
NDIM press note said that the ongoing placement drive has seen participation from more than 70 companies. The highest salary package offered stands at Rs 12.6 lakh per annum, while the average and median packages are Rs 4.6 lakh and Rs 4.8 lakh per annum, respectively.
Recruitment this season spans sectors such as information technology, e-commerce, finance, consulting, media, and manufacturing. Companies including Grant Thornton, Wipro, Paytm, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Swiggy, and Zomato are among those that have participated, the institute said in its communication. Students have been placed in roles across sales, marketing, business development, analytics, consulting, operations, and customer success.
Several organisations recruited multiple candidates. Swiggy selected nine students, while firms such as SSSi and Eduvizo hired eight students each, and Unlox Academy also recruited eight candidates, as per the press note. The highest package was secured by a student placed with Lotus Interworks at Rs 12.6 lakh per annum.
NDIM attributed the outcomes to structured initiatives by its training and placement cell, including pre-placement training, aptitude sessions, resume-building workshops, mock interviews, and industry interaction programmes, the official statement noted. These efforts are aimed at enhancing communication, analytical ability, and overall employability.
Commenting on the trend, managing director Ayush Kumar said, “This placement season reflects a deeper shift in what industry values today,” adding that employers are prioritising “practical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to adapt.”
The institute said that the placement process remains ongoing, with further recruiter participation expected and stated that it will continue to focus on industry-linked training, experiential learning, and skill development as part of its academic framework.
