NEET 2019: Correction window ends today; Remember these point to correct fields in application form

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 31: The facility of NEET correction window 2019 closes on January 31. Only the aspirants whose applications have been submitted successfully can edit their details in the application form. In order to edit the fields, candidates need to login using the application number and password. The corrections in the application form can be done till 11:50 PM only. Therefore, students are suggested to review their form and edit the required details before the specified time. As per National Testing Agency (NTA), this is a one-time correction window and no modifications, thereafter, will not be allowed.

Process of NEET correction 2019

For NEET application form correction facility, aspirants can follow the procedure as mentioned below.

• Go to the official website of NEET, which is ntaneet.nic.in

• Click on ‘One Time Correction’ option provided under the current events section.

• Enter the application number and password.

• Edit all the required fields in the application form and also verify the details.

• Click on save button after making the corrections.

• Submit the OTP number received received by candidates on the registered mobile number.

• Select the final submit button.

• Take a printout of NEET application form correction slip and preserve it for future references.

Important points for NEET Application Correction 2019

• In case of any changes in the category and gender of application form, candidates have to pay the additional requisite fee in online mode only.

• All the fields can edited in the NEET application form 2019, except the registered mobile number and email ID.

• Also, candidates cannot edit/change the passport size photograph and signature uploaded in the form.

• NTA released a notification on January 23, mentioning that application form of aspirants who uploaded the application form without name, date and white background will be accepted. Their applications will not be rejected.

After NEET application form correction 2019

Once the correction window closes, candidates whose application form will be accepted by authority will be issued NEET admit card 2019. NTA will release the admit card on April 15, 2019, onwards. It is mandatory to download and carry the printout of NEET UG hall ticket at the exam centre along with the ID proofs for verification purpose.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET will be conducted on May 5, 2019, for admission to around 66,771 MBBS and 27,148 BDS seats offered by government, private, deemed and central universities of India. Along with this, NEET scores will be used by state authorities for granting admission to AYUSH and veterinary courses.
