New Delhi, June 27: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released a revised counselling schedule for AIQ seats. As per the new schedule, the allotment of seats for Round I will now be made on July 1, postponed from June 27, i.e. today. However, the decision to postpone events was along expected lines as earlier DGHS had extended the last date of registration till June 26 and choice filling till June 27 (11 am).

Candidates who are allotted seats in first round of counselling will now have to report at allotted colleges between July 1 and 6; previously the reporting schedule for first round of counselling was June 28-July 3, 2019.
Other events that have been revised include registration for second and final round of counselling for AIQ seats, which will now be open from July 9-11, postponed from July 6-8.The seat allotment result will be declared on July 15.

Centralized counselling Vs. State Counselling
DGHS conducts centralized counselling for 15% AIQ/Central/Deemed Universities/AFMC seats. The counselling is conducted in online mode. Like mentioned above, two online rounds will be held for AIQ seats. But for Central/Deemed Uni./ESIC seats, an additional mop-up round will also be conducted.
Meanwhile, admission to state quota seats and all seats of private colleges will be administered by the respective state counselling authorities.
