New Delhi: In a live session today, National Testing Agency (NTA) Director General, Vineet Joshi, answered a lot of questions related to various entrance examinations. Asked about the admit card date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2020, the director general said that it is expected to be released 21 days prior to the date of entrance exam. Therefore, it can be expected that hall ticket will be released around July 5, 2020. However, the exact release date will be announced at the official website nta.ac.in or ntaneet.nic.in after the lockdown.

NTA NEET admit card release date
When asked about the release date of NEET admit card, NTA DG answered that, “Generally, they are released about 21 days before the date of examination. We have not given the exact dates as yet, because we are waiting for the lockdown to open. Then based on that, once we finalise the centres we will announce the exact dates.” Therefore, NEET aspirants, parents and guardians are advised to stay updated through the official website of NTA and NEET.
Mentioning about the number of exam centres, Joshi said that the centres will be allotted as per the first choice filled by an aspirant. He mentioned that NTA is still having conversations with other organisations and the list of exam centres will be released within a week.
NEET 2020 exam will be conducted on July 26, for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH courses offered in various colleges of India. As per the HRD minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, around 16.84 lakh candidates will be taking the entrance examination. NTA has again re-opened the correction window of NEET applications from May 15 to 31, 2020, to edit the details and change the exam cities. Being the last opportunity, NTA has advised students to correct the mistakes carefully.
