NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the results for round one of counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET today. The results will be released online on the official website - www.mcc.nic.in in PDF format. MCC conducted the round 1 NEET counselling for allotment of seats to qualified candidates under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed/Central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges.

The allotment of seats for NEET-UG will be done on the basis of All India Rank (AIR), choices of colleges as well as courses, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors. The round 1 of NEET counselling 2020 commenced on October 28, 2020 in an online mode.

Note: Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC has delayed the process of NEET-UG 2020 counselling. Therefore, the NEET seat allotment result has been postponed till further notice.

How to check NEET 2020 counselling first round result?

Aspirants can go through the below steps to download the counselling allotment result for NEET 2020 by following below mentioned steps.

  • Visit the MCC official website - mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling

  • Go through the “Result link” available at the download section of the homepage.

  • Download the Round one NEET 2020 counselling result PDF

  • Use “Ctrl+F” and search for your roll no. and allotment details.

After NEET 2020 counselling result

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round of counselling can download their seat allotment letter and final result from the MCC website and have to report to the allotted medical or dental college for admission from November 6 to 12, 2020. Candidates who have not secured a spot in the first list of counselling can appear for the second round of NEET counselling.

NEET 2020 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 13, 2020 in an offline pen-paper mode. NEET is the single entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and veterinary courses across the country. As per the statistics released by the NTA, a total of 13,66,945 candidates appeared for NEET 2020 of which 7,71,500 qualified the examination.
