NEW DELHI: Ministry of AYUSH has reduced NEET 2020 cutoff percentile for admission to undergraduate Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homeopathy (ASU and H) courses. As per the official notice, the reduced NEET cutoff for admission to AYUSH courses can be used for central and state-wise admissions. AYUSH ministry has lowered NEET 2020 cutoff percentile after receiving requests from various students. NEET 2020 cut off for general category candidates has been reduced to 40th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and PH students, it is now 30th and 35th percentile, respectively.

Earlier, AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) had released a revised schedule for mop-up round counselling for AYUSH admissions. The registration for admission to AYUSH courses through NEET 2020 will begin from January 19, 2021. The state admissions to ASU&H courses will also be conducted on the basis of reduced NEET-UG percentile.
AYUSH NEET 2020 counselling is conducted for admission to 52,720 BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS seats in the country. AACCC has successfully conducted two rounds of NEET AYUSH counselling.
In a notice released at aaccc.gov.in, the Ministry of AYUSH has reduced the minimum required NEET 2020 percentile for admission to ASU and H courses. Check the official notice below.

The admission to AYUSH courses will be done on the revised NEET 2020 cut off percentile. The AACCC and respective state counselling authorities will use reduced NEET cutoff percentile for admission to AYUSH courses. The notice also clarifies that the admission to AYUSH courses through reduced NEET 2020 cutoff is only applicable for the current academic year.
AACCC will start the registrations for the mop-up round of AYUSH NEET counselling 2020 on January 19, 2021. Candidates can register for AYUSH counselling at aaccc.gov.in. During registration, candidates will have to pay the required registration fee and fill their choices of courses and colleges. AACCC will announce the result for the AYUSH mop-up round on January 27, 2021.
