NEW DELHI - The Supreme Court of India has issued a directive in which it has stated that the candidates who could not appear for the NEET 2020 exam which was conducted on September 13, they can take the exam on October 14. The SC has stated the exam is being conducted for those candidates who had either COVID 19 or their test centres fell in the containment zone. A mail regarding the same has been sent to the eligible candidates' email ID. In wake of this change, the NEET Result 2020 which was supposed to be announced on October 12 will now be declared on October 16. As per the NEET 2020 result declaration latest update, Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tweeted the NEET 2020 result date which is now to be released on October 16 he further added that the exact timings will be intimated later.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the NEET exam every year for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament e.g.

AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. Every year more than 13 lakh students appear for the NEET 2020 exam which is conducted in offline mode.
