NEET tie breaking criteria

According to the information brochure the tie breaking criteria for NEET 2020 result is as follows:

  • 1st preference - Candidates obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test.
  • 2nd preference - Candidates obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test.
  • 3rd preference - Candidates with less number of attempted wrong answers in all the subjects in the Test.
  • Final preference - Candidates older in age to be preferred

NEET Result Raw Score Calculation Formula

NEET marks = 4 X total correct answers - 1 X total incorrect answers

NEET Percentile Score Calculation Formula

100 x number of candidates appeared with raw score equal to or less than the candidate
