NEET 2021 Exam Date: Fake notice says exam on September 5

NEW DELHI: A fake ‘notice’ claiming that the NEET 2021 exam is going to be conducted on September 5 is circulating on social media platforms. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not released any NEET 2021 updates regarding the exam dates on the official websites - neet.nta.nic.in or nta.nic.in - or on the official Twitter handle.

This fake notice regarding the NEET 2021 has created confusion among the medical aspirants as they have been demanding an update on NEET 2021 exam dates. However, clarification by NTA on NEET 2021 is still awaited.

Fake notice says NEET 2021 new exam date is September 5

The fake notice displaying yesterday’s date (July 5) says that “NEET UG 2021 will be conducted in 11 languages in pen-paper mode on September 5.”

NEET 2021 update by NTA on exam date

On March 13, the NEET 2021 exam date by NTA was released through an official notice at nta.ac.in. As per that update, the NEET exam is on August 1, 2021. After which, no official NEET 2021 updates have been released by the authorities.

As per the latest news on NEET 2021, the officials are in the process of reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the country. Any statement regarding the postponement of NEET 2021 from NTA is still awaited.
