NTA dismisses NEET 2021 paper leak rumour

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has dismissed rumours around a paper leak of National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) exam 2021 that surfaced on Twitter on Friday, day before NEET PG 2021 and two days ahead of NEET UG 2021, as per a report from IndiaTV .

Several people started campaigning on Twitter with hashtag #OperationNEET hinting towards alleged leak of the question paper of the national medical exam.

NTA responded to the rumours and said that the rumours are false and students should stay away from such news, the report from IndiaTV said.

“Things come into #OperationNEET are very serious, as we can see seats are sold out with high rates. This is the complete failure of Modi Govt, the way Govt playing with the future of Lakh of students is really shameful. We demand a high level enquiry in this matter,” NSUI said on Twitter.

A Twitter user said: “Neet papers leaked and seats sold out with high rates #OperationNEET Meanwhile students who've financial problem and are hard working. #ModiHaiToFailureHai”

Another Twitter user said: “#OperationNEET Neet Paper Leaked... So Sad... Happy Suicide day Everyone.”

“Report of #OperationNEET is indeed serious, we cannot allow education mafia to exploit systematic loopholes leaving lakhs of marginalized students vulnerable, dpradhanbjp must look into the matter & constitute a high level inquiry committee after validating the reports ASAP,” the All India Students’ Federation (AISF) said on Twitter.

Recently, the Supreme Court had dismissed the plea seeking rescheduling of NEET UG 2021 amid ongoing protest by the students.

Later, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticised the government and asked for postponement of NEET UG 2021 following which #JusticeforNEETAspirants trended on Twitter.
