NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) on September 11, 2021. NBE has released the NEET PG admit card along with COVID-19 protocols to be followed by the candidates. The COVID-19 advisory has been implemented to safely conduct the exam.

A total of 1,74,886 registered candidates are expected to appear for the exam and to mitigate the risk of spreading of coronavirus during the NEET PG exam, NBE has included a health-related ‘self-declaration' form. A hard copy of the admit card must be carried along with the mandatory documents at the NEET PG 2021 exam centre. Aspirants are advised to read the COVID-19 advisory released by NBE for NEET PG 2021 below.

NEET PG 2021 admit card: COVID-19 advisory

Given below are the COVID-19 guidelines that each candidate must follow at the exam centre.

  • All aspirants must maintain social distancing at all times at NEET-PG 2021 exam centre.

  • Candidates must wear the protective gear safety kit consisting of a face shield, a face mask and 5 hand sanitiser sachets to be provided at the exam centre of NEET PG 2021.

  • No candidate will be permitted entry inside the exam centre without an appropriate protective face mask.

  • Aspirants are not allowed to carry any item inside the examination hall apart from NEET PG 2021 admit card and other mandatory documents for verification purposes. The list of prohibited items includes water bottles, gloves, calculator, pen etc.

  • The temperature of every candidate will be checked at the entry of the NEET PG 2021 exam venue via a thermo gun. Candidates with a higher body temperature will be allowed to take the postgraduate entrance exam.

  • Each aspirant must follow directions given by representatives & need to stand in the circles drawn at the entry points.

  • Candidates will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using provided sanitiser at the registration desk.

  • NEET PG 2021 exam will be conducted under the CCTV Surveillance

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any candidate who will not follow the NEET PG 2021 COVID-19 advisory will not be permitted to sit in the exam under any circumstances.

NEET PG 2021: Self-declaration form

The self-declaration form also called ‘undertaking’ NEET PG self-declaration, released along with the NEET PG admit card 2021 must be filled and signed by candidates. NEET PG 2021 self-declaration form released along with the admit card must be duly filled and signed by each aspirant. The self-declaration form will ensure that an aspirant is free from any COVID-19 symptoms and is eligible to sit in the exam hall.

NEET PG 2021 entrance exam will be conducted for admission to 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 922 PG Diploma seats.
