Aspirants who intend to challenge the NEET 2022 answer key, can do the same by paying a sum of Rs 200 per challenged answer. As per the official notice, candidates will be able to challenge NEET UG 2022 answer key up to September 2, 2022, till 11.50 PM. On the basis of challenges, NTA will release the NEET final answer keys 2022, a few hours before the declaration of the result. How to calculate scores using NEET 2022 answer key

Medical aspirants can take the help of the given NEET 2022 answer keys for all sets to calculate the probable score that they are likely to secure in the NEET examination. To do the same candidates can follow the steps below.

  • After the NTA NEET answer key is released candidates can tally their answers (as in the NEET OMR sheet PDF) with the official NEET 2022 answer key.

  • Candidates must keep an eye on the code of the question paper and the NEET 2022 answer key while tallying. Candidates can find the sets and language of the answer key on the top of both, the answer key and OMR sheet

  • Medical aspirants will then have to count the correct and incorrect responses to know their NEET score. In case, more than one answer is marked for a question, candidates must consider it to be unanswered. The marking scheme given below will be used to calculate scores.

NEET 2022 score = [4*(Number of Correct Responses)] – [1*(Number of Incorrect Responses)]

How to challenge the NEET official answer key 2022?

Candidates who disagree with any given answer in the provisional NEET answer key can submit an objection against it, paying a fee of Rs 200 per question. Aspirants must know that the fee has to be paid online and is non-refundable. Aspirants can challenge the NEET 2022 answer key by following these simple steps:

  • Go to the official NTA NEET website,

  • Click on the link that says “Challenge NEET-UG 2022 answer key”

  • Log in with your application number and password

  • Click on key challenge and select a test booklet code

  • Select the question numbers and click on submit

  • Choose the answer that you believe is correct while giving a brief explanation which is optional

  • Click on "Confirm"

  • Pay the objection filing fee and keep the confirmation slip for future reference
