NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2022 application form soon at neet.nta.nic.in. As per the officials, the NEET notification 2022 will be out by April 10. However, the official confirmation on NEET 2022 exam application release date is still awaited from the NTA side.

The candidates who wish to appear for the medical entrance examination need to register themselves on or before the NEET 2022 application form last date. Since the application form must be filled within 30 minutes, candidates must keep all the documents handy to save their time. Aspirants are advised to read further to know what details have to be filled in the NEET 2022 application form and prepare accordingly.

Basic steps for filling NEET 2022 application form

Candidates must note that the NEET form 2022 will be filled in online mode. Aspirants have to complete the following steps:

  • Registration

  • Filling in the basic details

  • Uploading documents

  • Making payment

  • Printing confirmation page

Details to be entered during NEET 2022 registration

Candidates have to fill in the below-listed details while registering for NEET 2022.

  • Candidate’s name

  • Father’s name

  • Mother’s name

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • State of Eligibility

  • Category

  • Person with Disabilities

  • Identification Type

  • Identification Number

  • Mobile Number

  • Email ID

  • Security Pin (as displayed on the screen)

NEET UG 2022 Application Form - Documents to be uploaded

Documents required in NEET phase I

  • Photograph: Recent photograph on a white background and with 80% face coverage, ranging from 10 kb to 200 kb, in jpg format.

  • Postcard size picture: 4.25X 3.5 inches recent photograph with 80% face coverage.

  • Signature: Running hand signatures with black pen on a white paper to be uploaded in jpg format, 2.5X 3.5 inches size, 4 kb to 30 kb.

  • Left-hand thumb impression: Left-hand thumb impression with blue ink on white paper to be uploaded in jpg format, 10 kb to 200 kb size.

Documents required in NEET phase II

  • Passing certificate of Class 10: Scanned copy of Class 10 passing certificate to be uploaded ranging from 50 kb to 300 kb.

  • Category certificate: Candidates claiming to be from SC/ST/OBC/ EWS caste, must upload the certificate within 50 kb to 300 kb.

  • PwD certificate: If claiming, candidates must upload the certificate from the legal center (given in the brochure) within 50 kb to 300 kb.

  • Citizenship certificate: Upload the proof of citizenship within 50 kb to 300 kb.

NEET 2022 will be conducted in offline mode. The number of seats for which the exam will be conducted are 90,825 MBBS, 52,728 AYUSH, 27, 948 BDS, 603 BVSc, and 487 BSc nursing. Also, 1205 seats for AIIMS MBBS and 200 seats for JIPMER MBBS are included in this.
