NEW DELHI, April 14: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) admit card is to be issued anytime soon at NTA website - ntaneet.nic.in.  The hall ticket will be released for common medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS and AYUSH courses on April 15, 2019. Only the registered applicants can download the admit cards till NEET exam date, which is May 5, 2019. It is essential to carry the admit card of NEET 2019 at the exam centre along with passport size photograph, valid ID proof and PwD certificate (if applicable) for verification purpose. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to take the MBBS/BDS exam.

The soft copy of admit card will be sent to the registered email IDs. It must be noted that students will not receive the hall tickets in offline mode. Around 15.19 lakh applicants have been received by NTA for academic session 2019-20. Last year, a total of 13,26,725 candidates took the exam, while as many as 11.38 lakh registrations for the year 2017.

NEET 2019 is to be conducted in three hours from 2 to 5 PM in 11 languages including Hindi, English, Assamese, Bangla, Gujarati, Oriya, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Urdu. Qualifying the NEET exam is also mandatory for candidates who are willing for admission to medical as well as dental courses across India.

  • Click on the link of NEET admit card 

  • Enter the required credentials - application number and password

  • Cross-check the details 

  • Download the hall ticket and take a printout of future references

Students should check the name and address of exam centre allotted. Also, they must check the distance and time to reach the exam centre before the NEET UG exam. The test takers and their parents should take care of the exam guidelines and follow it carefully for smooth completion of exam. 

Since, NEET is to be conducted in pen and paper mode, NTA is outsourcing the exam centres for the same. As per the daily newspaper, NTA needs as many as 3,000 test centres to accommodate the applicants. Reportedly, the agency had released a notice on the process of fixing examination centres for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - UG 2019. The examination body had earlier stated in the release, “there is a need of more than 3,000 centres across the country.” The last date for the institute to give the consent was February 28, 2019.
