NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 14: The registration process of NEET UG 2019 entrance exam has been concluded on December 7, 2018. All the registered aspirants who have provided some incorrect details in the application form can edit/delete it by using the facility of NEET correction window. The correction facility will be available from January 14, 2019. Meanwhile, National Testing Agency (NTA) has mailed all the registered applicants about the discrepancy in their uploaded passport size photograph and signature.

NEET UG correction 2019 - Details to be corrected
While filling the NEET application form 2019, NTA had specified the certain fields that cannot be included, which are:

Category
-
Nationality
-
State of eligibility (15% All India Quota)

Person with disability
-
Medium of question paper
-
Choices of exam city
However, as per FAQs published by NTA, all the fields in the application form can be corrected. Aspirants should have entered the correct name as mentioned in the ID proof, which will later be verified at the time of examination.
Process of NEET UG correction 2019

Candidates can use the link provided on the official website, which is ntaneet.nic.in.

Use NEET candidate login 2019 option and enter the application number and password.

Click on the button mentioning ‘Correction in NEET application form 2019’

Edit/delete the incorrect details filled in the form and click to preview or submit the details.

OTP number (One Time Password) received on the registered mobile number must be entered in the next step.

A confirmation slip will be displayed, which must be printed for future references.
Candidates whose applications will be edited within the stipulated time period will be issued the NEET admit card 2019 from April 15 onwards. NTA will conduct the NEET UG exam on May 5, for admission to 66,771 MBBS and 27,148 BDS seats offered by government, private, deemed and central universities of India. The result of UG medical entrance exam will be announced online on June 5, 2019.
