The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the round 1 seat allotment results for MBBS and BDS admission under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) on August 9. Over 12.36 lakh NEET-qualified candidates will compete for 1.18 lakh MBBS seats across India this year. As per the previous year’s admission trends, only one in ten will get into MBBS. The MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 registration and choice filling deadline has been extended multiple times now to accommodate PwD and NRI candidates, who are required to get their documents verified for admission under the respective quota.

As per the latest NEET UG counselling schedule, the round 1 seat allotment results will be declared tomorrow on the official website, mcc.nic.in. All students who are allotted seats in the first round should report to the medical colleges between August 9 and 18 with all necessary documents.

The MCC has also set the deadline for completion of state-level round 1 NEET UG counselling as August 18. All state governments have been directed to complete the process within the stipulated time. The academic classes for MBBS first-year students will begin on September 5.
