NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test - NEET admit card 2020 on August 26 in the online mode, despite the protest against conducting the exam due to COVID-19 pandemic. For the year 2020, NTA has made a collection of major changes to not only for the exam day but also in the NEET UG admit card. One of the major highlights is NEET admit card undertaking 2020, in order to assure aspirants to follow the government's guidelines during the Coronavirus outbreak. Details to fill in NEET admit card 2020 undertaking

Below are the particulars that aspirants are required to mark/fill in the NEET admit card undertaking 2020.

  • Candidates have to answer whether they have any flu symptoms such as cough, breathlessness, sore throat, runny nose or body ache.

  • Aspirants also need to mention if they have contacted a COVID-19 positive person in the past or

  • He/she has travelled within 14 days and mention the name of the city and date of arrival in the city centre.

  • Aspirants have to affix the photo (same as uploaded in the NEET 2020 application form).

  • They have to put a left thumb impression on the NTA undertaking before reaching the NEET examination centre 2020.

  • Parents/guardians signature on the NEET 2020 admit card undertaking is mandatory.

  • The signature of candidates should be done in front of the invigilator

IMPORTANT NOTE: A hard copy of the NEET 2020 undertaking must be carried by every candidate at the exam centre along with the admit card.

The major purpose behind the undertaking of NEET 2020 admit card is to safety conduct of medical entrance exam and to ensure whether students follow COVID guidelines. Since, as much as 15.97 lakh aspirants will appear in India's only NEET and the chances of COVID-19 spread amongst the number of students is high, the undertaking ensures that the aspirant is safe to sit for the exam. NEET 2020 will be held on September 13 for admission to 82,926 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH offered in colleges of India.
