Try NowNEW DELHI: National Board of Examination (NBE) is all set to conduct the NEET MDS 2021 exam today on December 16, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The exam will be conducted in computer based mode. NEET MDS exam contains 240 multiple choice questions based on the BDS syllabus. NBE is conducting NEET MDS 2021 across 79 major cities of India. Candidates need to report to their allotted exam centre as per the schedule mentioned in NEET MDS 2021 admit card. Authorities released the hall ticket for NEET MDS 2021 on December 9, 2020. Along with the admit card, aspirants must carry a photograph attached on it and a valid ID proof to the NEET MDS exam centre.
NEET MDS exam is conducted for admission to 6,501 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats in 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, all deemed/central universities, ESIC and private institutes. The result for NEET MDS 2021 will be released by December 31, 2020.
Documents to carry to NEET MDS exam centre
Following are the documents which must be carried at the exam centre without fail. No one will be allowed to enter the examination hall without possession of these documents/certificates.
NEET MDS 2021 admit card -

The admit card mentions name, NEET MDS roll number, date of birth, category, date and time of exam, name and address of exam centre allotted, photograph and signature, guidelines to be followed and other details.

A recent passport size photograph of the candidate should be attached on the admit card.

Specifications of the photograph - 35X45 mm in size.

Candidate’s name and the date of the photo captured should be mentioned at the bottom of the photograph.

NEET MDS exam day guidelines

Candidates must remember to carry their admit card, photograph, and valid photo ID card to the exam centre.

Candidates should reach the exam centre at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.

The reporting counter will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the reporting time.

Candidates should wear masks all the time and follow social distancing norms.

After reaching the exam centre, candidates will have to flash their admit card and ID proof to the barcode reader.

Candidates will have to undergo a facial ID verification.

Temperature of the candidates will be checked using thermo guns.

No arrangements will be made for candidates to keep their belongings at the exam centre.
NEET MDS 2021 guidelines for aspirants with COVID-19 symptoms
Those candidates who on temperature checks will record a higher than normal temperature or will show any symptoms of COVID-19, will be isolated. Such candidates will be permitted to take the test in isolation in a separate test lab.
Items banned inside the NEET MDS exam centre

Electronic devices such as mobiles, bluetooth, earphones, watches, and microphones are not permitted inside the exam centre.

Candidates should avoid wearing any jewellery such as bracelets, rings, earrings, nose pin, chain or necklace.

Accessories such as wallets, goggles, belts, and handbags are banned inside the exam centre.

Candidates should ensure they do not carry any stationery items such as papers, pens, and calculators in the exam centre.

No eatables are allowed in the examination hall.
