Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) exam has been postponed by the ministry of health and family welfare. Apart from the NEET MDS 2022 exam, the ministry has also postponed the internship completion date.
As per an order by the health ministry, the NEET MDS 2022 exam which was earlier scheduled to be held on March 6 has been postponed by four to six weeks and the date of completion of the compulsory rotating internship for getting admission to the MDS course has been postponed by two months. Hence, all students can complete their internships by July 31.

The NEET MDS 2022 exam date will be fixed preferably around the same date as NEET PG 2022 examination. The postponement of the NEET MDS 2022 exam came after students urged to postpone the exam on social media.
"It is informed that the matter has been examined in this ministry and in order to bring parity between the NEET-MDS 2022 and NEET-PG 2022 exams, it has been decided by the competent authority that the date for the conduct of the NEET-MDS exam for 2022 may be postponed by 4-6 weeks, preferably around the same date as that for NEET-PG 2022," undersecretary Rajeev Kumar said in a letter to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences.
