NEET PG 2020 scorecard can be downloaded today at 5 PM; NBE confirms

New Delhi: National Board of Examinations (NBE) will release the scorecard for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) on February 3, 2020. Through a telephone conversation with Careers360, NBE officials confirmed that scorecard to be released at 5:00 PM today at nbe.edu.in. Only candidates who have qualified the test can download the NEET PG scorecard. The scorecard can be downloaded by entering the user ID and password, provided by the regulatory body. Earlier, the authority has declared the results for postgraduate entrance examination on January 30, 2020, in PDF format.
It is important to download the scorecard for NEET MD/MS/PG Diploma admissions, as it will be verified at the time of counselling. Through the counselling based on All India Rank, eligible aspirants will be granted admission to 10,821 Masters of Surgery (MS), 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 1979 PG Diploma seats offered in medical colleges of the country. NEET PG scores will also be considered for admission to 1338 DNB CET seats, which will be offered in 649 hospitals across India.

Visit the official website - nbe.edu.in

Select NEET PG as the entrance exam

Then, click on application login link available

Enter the user ID and password and submit it

The scorecard will appear on the screen

Cross-check the information mentioned in it

Download and take a printout for future references
Aspirants who have secured the minimum qualifying percentile are considered qualified. The cutoff percentile for general category candidates is 50th percentile, while the scores corresponding to it is 366. PG medical graduates belonging to reserved categories must secure at least 40th percentile with equivalent scores of 319 marks.
Once the scorecard is downloaded, the apex body will prepare the merit list of NEET PG 2020 for candidates selected under 50% All India Quota seats. This merit list will mention the roll number, scores, All India Rank, category rank and 50% AIQ rank of the candidates. According to the scores obtained, the rank list will be prepared. In case, if the ranks of two or more test takers will be equal, the authority will use the tie-breaking method, to resolve the issues as mentioned in the information bulletin.
50% AIQ aspirants included in the NEET PG merit list will be required to register themselves for counselling process, which will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It should be noted that the counselling process for PG medical admissions will begin in the second week of March, based on the marks obtained, choices of colleges as well as courses filled, seats availability, reservation criteria and other factors.
