NEW DELHI: After the CBSE postponed the board exam 2021, the demand for the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) has increased. The president of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), MK Stalin, has come forward to support the demand of medical graduates to postpone NEET PG exam. The computer-based test is scheduled to be held on April 18, 2021, for admission to around 24,360 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 12,690 Master of Surgery (MS) seats.

Medical students have thanked MK Stalin for supporting the hashtag #postponeneetpg campaign. Also, candidates have started approaching several politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Priyanka Gandhi and journalists for support.

A few days ago, a group of candidates had written a letter to NBE requesting the postponement of NEET PG exam. The authority has released NEET PG admit card on April 13, 2021, and at the same time confirmed that the PG exam will be held on April 18.
