The apex court on Tuesday heard a plea filed by doctors on absence of option to change the NEET PG exam centre. The court had asked to list the matter first item on board on Thursday (today).
Issue notice only with respect to petitioners 1 and 2 who are in their seventh and eighth month of pregnancy respectively, the court said on Monday.
Responding to this, Senior Advocate Kavin Gulati today informed the court that the NBE has granted permission for both the petitioners to change the NEET PG 2021 exam centre.
A bench of Justices UU Lalit, Ajay Rastogi and Vikram Nath disposed of the writ petition as the request of the petitioners have been met.

The doctors in their plea have sought directions to the NBE to allow candidates to change the centre in view of the subsequent events from the date when the exam was last scheduled April 18, 2021, according to the report. It also requested the authorities to allow centre change on the basis on current location.
Meanwhile, several NEET PG candidates, who were earlier allotted exam centres outside the state, have also been requesting NBE for changing the test centre.
The NBE is expected to soon release the NEET PG 2021 admit card at nbe.edu.in. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate will be held on September 11, 2021.
