NEW DELHI: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, will start the registration for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test, or INI CET 2022 January session today, September 10, from 5 pm onwards. As per the official notice released by the authorities, the last date to fill the INI CET 2022 application form is October 9, 2021.

INI CET 2022 January session exam date is yet to be announced. The postgraduate medical exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode for admission to around 872 Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats. Aspirants are advised to check the steps to apply for INI CET 2022 session below.

INI CET 2022- Who can apply?

Given below are the basic eligibility criteria that candidates need to fulfil in order to fill the INI CET application form 2022.

  • Aspirants who have an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS course from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/Dental Council of India (DCI) can fill the INI CET 2022 form.

  • Candidates who have completed one year of rotatory internship and have a completion certificate is also eligible.

  • Applicants from the General/OBC/EWS category should have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while candidates from SC/ST category must obtain an aggregate of 50%

  • Graduates who have obtained the registration certificate issued by the MCI/DCI or State Medical Council/State Dental Council (SMC/SDC) can apply for INI CET 2022.

  • Aspirants who have completed their MBBS abroad can also apply for the INI CET 2022 January session. The marks obtained by them in Foreign Medical Graduate Examination -FMGE will be considered in lieu of aggregate marks.

INI CET 2022 January session- Steps to register

Since the INI CET 2022 registrations will be conducted in the online mode, candidates must be aware of the steps to fill the form. Given below are the quick steps on how to register for INI CET 2022.

  • Visit the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in

  • Click on the INI CET 2022 registration link, to be available from 5 pm.

  • Upon clicking the registration link, the 'Click here' button will be displayed on the screen which will direct candidates to an instruction page.

  • Read all the instructions carefully and be equipped with all the information that is mentioned on the page.

  • Select the course (MD/MS/MCH(6 years)/DM (6 years) or MDS) that the candidate is seeking admission to.

  • Enter personal details like name, date of birth, category, gender, nationality, and details of the ID proof.

  • After submission of personal details, enter contact details like email ID, contact number and then give consent for the declaration form.
