Use NowNEW DELHI : The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced withdrawal of postgraduate seats from three medical colleges for Round 1 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2022 counselling. NEET PG 2022 counselling registration for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) round 1 will end today, September 23. Eligible candidates have to submit application on the MCC NEET PG counselling website, mcc.nic.in.
The MCC has received information from Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health, Assam; HomiBhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh; and Government Medical College Suryapet, Telangana to remove the seats from the seat matrix of Round-1 of PG Counselling 2022.

PG seats from Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health, Assam have been as per some letter from the institute whereas HomiBhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh withdrew diploma seats as it received approval for MD in Anaesthesiology. On the other hand, seats from Government Medical College Suryapet, Telangana were removed as the PG medical seats were added erroneously by the institute.

Recently, MCC removed seats from two medical colleges – Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and BJ Government Medical College, Ahmedabad.

Morevoer, MCC also added new MD, MS seats in Round 1. Medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh have announced new seats according to the list displayed on the MCC website.
