NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS, will be conducting the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, postgraduate, NEET PG 2022 exam today on May 21 from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Though several requests were made by the MBBS graduates, resident doctors to postpone NEET PG 2022 exam, the board decided not to reschedule the medical entrance exam.

The All India Medical Students Association (AIMSA) on May 4 moved the Supreme Court of India to defer the NEET PG 2022 exam by 8 to 10 weeks. The Supreme Court, however, on May13 dismissed the plea and said postponing the medical entrance exam will create “chaos and uncertainty”.

NEET PG 2022 Exam day guidelines

The NBE has released the exam day guidelines in the NEET PG 2022 hall tickets for the applicant's reference. The NEET PG 20222 exam day guidelines are listed below.

NEET PG 2022: Things to bring to the test center

  • NEET PG admit card 2022 printout with the affixed recent passport-size photograph

  • A valid photo ID proof such as an aadhar card, driving license, voter ID, PAN card, passport, etc.

  • Photocopy of permanent/ provisional MCI/ SMC registration

NEET PG 2022: Prohibited items at exam centre

  • Mobile phone, smartwatch, calculator, or any other electronic gadget
  • Stationery items such as pen, pencil, writing pad, etc. (it is a computer-based test)Do not wear/carry jewellery
  • Do not carry bags, wallets, pouches, and any other item

A total of 26,699 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) seats will be available in NEET PG 2022 and 922 Diploma seats.
