Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Board ExaminatIon (NBE) will close the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) registration process tomorrow, January 27, 2023. Candidates who wish to appear for the NEET PG exam 2023 will have to complete the NEET PG application form 2023 on the official website, nbe.edu.in.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the NEET PG 2023 exam date last year in September 2022. The NEET PG 2023 will be held on March 5, 2023.
However, medical aspirants have been requesting the health minister and the NBE to postpone NEET PG 2023 exam by two-three months due to insufficient time to prepare for the exam and months gap between the exam and counselling. Earlier, the medicos demanded the NBE to extend the MBBS internship cut-off date as a large number of graduates were ineligible to apply.
Taking into consideration, the NBE later announced to extend the MBBS internship deadline to June 30. #PostponeNEETPG2023 was trending on Twitter this week.
General, OBC, EWS candidates will have to pay an examination fee of RS 4,250 and SC, ST, PWD will have to pay Rs 3,250.
NEET PG 2023 is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD, MS, PG diploma courses for the academic session 2023-24. Candidates who qualify NEET PG 2023 will be able to take admission in
- All India 50% quota seats for all states, union territories of India,
- State quota seats,
- All private medical colleges,
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions,
- Post MBBS DNB Courses,
- Direct 6 years DrNB Courses
- Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses.
