NBEMS has issued the list of examination cities where the exam will be conducted.

Background wave

NBEMS informed that candidates will be informed about the allotted exam city via email on July 29 and NEET PG 2024 admit card will be issued on August 8. Students will not be allowed to choose their exam shifts. The board will announce exam timings of both the shifts soon.

NEET PG 2024: City selection, allocation scheme

A candidate will be allotted examination city based on the following conditions:

  • Candidates will have to provide choices of four test cities among the available cities within the state of correspondence address.
  • Wherever the number of available test cities in a state or UT of correspondence address is less than four or the demand of testing seats is exceeding the available capacity in the state, the candidate shall be offered to choose from the test cities of nearby states or UTs.
  • A test city will be allocated randomly to a candidate from the choices provided, and these four choices will not be considered as an order of preference of test cities.
  • It is possible that a test center cannot be provided in any of the four preferred test cities due to reasons such as overcapacity, logistical, administrative, or security reasons. In that case, the candidate will be allocated a test center in one of the nearest available locations within the state of correspondence address or in nearby states. If no test center can be allocated within the state of correspondence address or in a nearby state as well, the applicant shall be allocated a test center in any part of the country based on availability.
  • Candidates who don’t provide exam city preferences during this online window shall be allocated a test centre by NBEMS anywhere in the country.
  • The allocation of the test center is subject to availability and the decisions made by NBEMS. NBEMS reserves its right to add a new city (other than those listed above) for conduct of examination or to delete an offered city due to security and/or logistic reasons.
  • Candidate shall not be entitled to claim any changes in the preferred test city choices given, after submitting the form. Further, the form shall not be accessible to edit after being submitted once or after the deadline.
