Download nowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the National Postgraduate Eligibility Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 has been postponed to July 7. The cut-off date for completion of internship for NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024, NBE informed.
“In supersession of NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023 and pursuant to the receipt of NMC letter dated 03.01.2024, the conduct of NEET-PG 2024 examination which was earlier notified to be tentatively held on 3rd March 2024 stands rescheduled,” said NBEMS in an official notice.
“The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 shall be 15th August 2024,” it added.

The medical board advised candidates to check the exact dates of examinations from the information bulletin or NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, as the exam date is ‘purely tentative’ and subject to approvals and confirmations.
NBEMS further asked candidates to refer to its website for the NEET PG 2024 information bulletin, NEET PG 2024 application form and other details of the exam as and when notified.
NEET PG 2024 aspirants can also check the official notice on NBE site as it is working now. The NBE official website had been suspended by Google on January 8. Sources had also told PTI that NEET PG 2024 will be held in the first week of July and counselling will begin in August first week. The National Exit Test (NExT) which will replace the NEET PG will not be held this year for admission to postgraduate medical programmes. Initially, NBE had announced that NEET PG 2024 will be conducted on March 3 while releasing the academic calendar.
