NEET PG 2024 registration starts at natboard.edu.in; important dates, guidelines

NEW DELHI: National Board of Examination (NBE) has started the NEET PG 2024 registration through the official website, natboard.edu.in. National Eentrance-cum-Eligibility Test for postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 exam will be held for admission into around 20,000 seats of Doctor of Medicine (MD), over 10,000 seats of Master of Surgery (MS) and other postgraduate programmes in the country. Students will be able to complete the NEET PG 2024 registration till May 6.

NEET PG 2024 will be held on June 23 and the admit card will be uploaded on the official website on June 18. NEET PG 2024 result will be declared on July 15 and counselling process will start from August 5. The academic session for PG programmes will begin on September 16. Students applying for the NEET PG will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 3,500. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories will have to submit a Rs 2,500 application fee.

Eligibility criteria

As per National Medical Commission;s (NMC) rules, those applying for NEET PG should have secured completed their MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate from a recognised medical institute in the country. They will also have to produce a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or their respective state medical council (SMC). Only those students who have completed the internship till August 15 will be eligible to appear for NEET PG 2024, the NMC rules state.

Students can register for the NEET PG 2024 on through the official website:

• Visit the official website, natboard.edu.in
• On the homepage, click on ‘NEET PG’ link
• In the next tab, click on the ‘application link’ and then on ‘to register’ link
• Now complete the registration process and generate your credentials
• Login in using your credentials and complete the NEET PG 2024 application process
• Download the registration form for future reference.
