Download nowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) will declare the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) answer key is expected to be issued soon. NEET PG results 2024 for 2,28,540 candidates will be announced along with the cut-off percentile for admission into MD, MS, PG medical courses. The NEET PG answer key challenge window will also be hosted on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The NBEMS conducted the NEET PG 2024 in two shifts at 416 centres across 170 cities. The exam was administered on August 11 after several allegations of paper leak and postponements.
The board recently clarified that the normalisation process followed by All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi (AIIMS New Delhi) for its various exams will be adopted for NEET PG result declaration.

NEET PG cut-off trends
In December 2023, the Union health ministry informed that 247 postgraduate medical seats are vacant after the conclusion of counselling. Citing the increasing number of vacant seats, the NEET PG aspirants and doctor groups demanded the National Medical Commission (NMC) to reduce the NEET PG cut-off percentile by 10-15 marks. Indian Medical Association (IMA) requested to reduce cut-off percentile up to 30% to fill the seats for both clinical and non-clinical courses.
However, the Union health and family welfare ministry on September 20 approved NMC’s recommendation to reduce qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 to “zero” across all categories. The NEET PG cut-off of last year before reducing it to nil is given below.
