NEW DELHI: The final allotment letter for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate and Master of Dental Surgery (NEET PG and MDS) has been released on the official website of mcc.nic.in/PGCounselling. A total of 12,579 Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) candidates and 391 MDS candidates have been shortlisted to download the allotment letter of round two.

The shortlisted aspirants can download the allotment letter for PG/MDS courses and report at the allotted colleges along with the other relevant documents for verification purposes. Candidates can download the round two MD/MS and MDS allotment letter following the steps below.

  • Visit website mcc.nic.in/PGCounselling

  • Click on ‘allotment letter round 2’ option

  • Submit the stream, select round number, roll number, date of birth and security pin

  • NEET PG and MDS 2020 allotment letter will be displayed on the screen

  • Verify the details printed on it like personal details, college name, NEET PG/MDS details, reporting time and date

  • Download and take a printout to carry the respective college

It is mandatory to carry the counselling letter second round at the allotted college for verification along with other required documents. The fees must be paid in a case to reserve the seat. However, before reporting the college, aspirants need to provide their acceptance or refusal to the seat allotted choosing any of the four options.

Acceptance or refusal of seat

Option 1: Candidates accept the seat allotted and do not wish to participate for the next round.

Option 2: Aspirants accept the allotted seat but want to participate in subsequent rounds.

Option 3: Candidates wish to participate for next rounds, but do not join the allotted college

Option 4: Aspirants do not wish to join the college or appear for other rounds of counselling

Mop-up round counselling for NEET PG and MDS 2020

In the case of more vacant seats, the authority might conduct a mop-up round counselling for allotment of seats. The mop-up round will be held only for admission to deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutions. While the leftover seats for All India Quota (AIQ) will be transferred to remaining state counselling authorities on June 22, 2020, at 6:00 PM.
