The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will publish the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 answer key, along with the response sheet on its official website at natboard.edu.in. Candidates have to enter their application number and password to download the NEET PG provisional answer key and candidate’s response.

Over 2.65 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET PG 2026 examination, held on August 30, for admission to MD, MS and postgraduate diploma programmes at government and private medical colleges.
Candidates will soon be able to access their NEET PG 2026 question ID, correct answers, recorded or marked responses, and other information. The NEET PG 2026 result will be declared on September 30.
NEET PG Result 2026: Tie-breaking rules
According to the NEET PG 2026, if two or more aspirants score the same marks, their ranks will be decided using the following order:
- Student with fewer incorrect answers overall
- Student with fewer incorrect answers in Section A
- Student with fewer incorrect answers in Sections B, C, D and E, in that order
- Higher aggregate marks in MBBS professional examinations
- Older candidate
As per the NEET PG 2026 marking scheme, four marks will be given for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for incorrect answers. Notably, NBEMS has also reduced the number of questions asked in the exam from 200 to 180.
NEET PG 2026 Admit Card: Steps to check hall ticket
Candidates who will be appearing in September exam can follow these steps
- Go to the official website nbe.edu .in
- On homepage, go to the NEET PG tab
- Look under 2026 section and click on the admit card tab
- On the redirected page, enter registration number and date of birth/password
- Admit card will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
- Take its printout and carry the same to exam hall

NEET PG 2026: Steps to download answer key
Candidates can check and download the NEET PG 2026 answer key and their recorded responses through the official NBEMS website by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in.
- Click on the ‘Examinations’ tab and select ‘NEET PG’ under ‘Entrance Examinations’.
- Click on the ‘Application Link’ available under the NEET PG 2026 section.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button.
- Enter your User ID and password and log in.
- Click on the link for the NEET PG 2026 answer key and provisional response sheet.
- The question IDs, correct answers and the responses marked by the candidate will be displayed on the screen.

NEET PG 2026 answer key date out?
No, the NEET PG 2026 answer key release date has not been officially announced yet. The NBEMS is expected to release the NEET PG answer key soon. The NEET PG 2026 exam was conducted on August 30, 2026.
The answer key is expected to be released along with candidates’ recorded responses. Meanwhile, the NEET PG 2026 result is scheduled to be announced by September 30, 2026.
