NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 2 choice filling process begins today amid pending court cases

Use NowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the choice filling process for NEET PG round 2 counselling 2024 today. The registration window for NEET PG counselling 2024 was made available on the official website, mcc.nic.in, for those candidates who have qualified the entrance exam and are willing to participate in the second round of admission.
The MCC is also expected to issue the NEET PG seat matrix for round 2 on the portal. The round-wise seat matrix allows candidates to fill choices of courses and colleges based on the availability.
As per the MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule , the choice filling facility will be available till 11.55 pm on December 9. Applicants are also required to lock the choices of courses in the order of preference before the deadline. The NEET PG choice locking process will commence at 4 pm on December 9 and conclude by midnight on the same day.
Based on the marks secured by candidates in NEET PG results, availability of seats, choices filled, and past years’ cut-offs trends, the MCC will declare the seat allotment results on December 12.
Meanwhile, several NEET PG aspirants have approached the Supreme Court and five high courts across the country seeking transparency in the exam, errors in the merit list, in-service quota issue, and double normalisation.

“Candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure/ any other additional fee from the colleges especially Deemed Universities before filling up choices for the same,” the MCC added. They will be able to fill as many choices as possible to increase their chances of getting admission in a college.
The Supreme Court recently postponed the NEET PG SC hearing for the sixth time. The petitions were filed by candidates after the result declaration, demanding the court to direct NBEMS to issue NEET PG answer key, question paper and raw marks obtained by all participants.
