NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the registration process for round 2 NEET PG counselling 2024 today. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has, for the sixth time, deferred hearing petitions on transparency in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for postgraduate (NEET PG 2024).
As per the revised MCC NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule, the fresh registration for round 2 will start on December 4 and conclude on December 12 at 12 noon. Candidates should note that the choices filled in the previous round will be considered “ null and void”. Consequently, students will have to fill choices of colleges and courses for round 2 separately.
The window to submit choices in the order of preference will be opened on December 5, tomorrow. Recently, the counselling committee allowed candidates to change their nationality from Indian to NRI by sending a request and relevant documents through e-mail nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com by 10 am on December 1.
Candidates will be given a five-day time period to fill and lock choices. Following this, the NEET PG round 2 seat allotments will be declared on December 12. On the same day, round 2 counselling process for the NEET PG state counselling is scheduled to begin.
However, NEET PG aspirants are miffed as the legal proceedings in the Supreme Court and high courts are still pending.
