NEW DELHI: 56.21 percent candidates have passed the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET result 2023. A total of 11,45,976 candidates have passed the medical entrance exam this year, dropping the pass percentage as compared to last year’s 56.27%. NTA withheld the NEET UG 2023 result of seven candidates for using unfair means.

20,87,462 candidates including 9,02,936 male, 11,84,513 female, and 13 transgender registered for NEET UG 2023. Of the total registered, 17,64,571 appeared for the exams held on May 7 and June 6. Out of this, 4,90,374 male students, 6,55,599 females, and 3 transgender passed the exam.

Among the states, Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of candidates passing the exam with 2,73,352 candidates registering, 2,67,383 appearing, and 1,39,961 candidates passing the NEET exam this year. UP is followed by Maharashtra where 2,77,903 candidates registered out of which 2,73,819 candidates appeared for the NEET 2023 exam. Of those who appeared, 1,31,008 have been declared pass in NEET UG result 2023.
The top three rankers in NEET UG 2023 are male candidates. Mostly, men have secured the top 10 places in the NEET UG 2023 toppers list with one female at the fourth position. In the top 50 list, 10 females managed to secure ranks while others are male candidates.
