NEET SS 2019 Result declared at nbe.edu.in; Download super-specialty course merit list

NEW DELHI, July 17: National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi has declared the result of NEET SS 2019 on July 15. The result has been declared for 31 Super Speciality (SS) and clubbed groups in the form of merit list. The cutoff marks for each specialization of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super-Specialty (NEET SS) equivalent to the 50th percentile has also been released along with the results. Candidates are advised to download their results to appear for counselling process. Candidates who qualify the examination will be entitled to download their scorecard for admission to DNB Super Speciality courses and NBE Fellowship courses from July 22.

NBE is the conducting body of NEET-SS, however, it does not conduct the counselling for admissions. The merit lists are handed over by NBE to Medical Council Committee (MCC) and counselling for admission to various course is thereafter conducted by MCC.

NEET-SS 2019 was conducted in online mode on June 28. The exam was conducted in 47 cities across India. The question paper consists of 100 questions which was divided into two sections with 40 multiple choice questions (MCQs) in Part A and 60 MCQs in Part B. The examination had 31 unique question papers for each of the Super Speciality/Clubbed Groups. These question papers were prepared in accordance with the information bulletin.

1. Visit the official website nbe.edu.in

2. In the redirected page, click on the specialization result for which candidates have appeared.

3. Check the result by searching the NEET-SS roll number, which displays the score (out of 400) and merit position.

4. Download the result for future references.

NEET SS 2019 Cutoff

The cutoff marks corresponding to the equivalent percentile has been released along with the result for each specialty. Those candidates who secure a minimum of the 5oth percentile cut off score are considered qualified in the examination. The cutoff qualifying marks for all super-specialty is provided in the table below.

Technically incorrect questions

After getting the questions re-checked by the faculty member of each specialty, the authorities found 16 out of 31 questions technically incorrect. The maximum incorrect questions, i.e., 4 were in Endocrinology. The candidates who appeared for the exam, irrespective of whether they attempted these questions or not, were awarded full marks for these questions.
