NEET SS 2020 mop-up counselling dates out; Registration begins

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the mop-up round registration for counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS). The registration for NEET SS counselling can be done at mcc.nic.in/MCCSS. The schedule for NEET SS mop-up round counselling 2020 has been released. The registration will be available till 12 noon of February 2, 2021, while the payment can be done till 3 PM. NEET SS counselling 2020 mop-up round choice filling will be done from February 1 at 3 PM to February 2, 2021, till 11:59 PM.

The MCC NEET SS counselling 2020 mop-up round has started after the reduction of the cutoff. The conducting body, National Board of Examinations (NBE) has revised NEET SS 2020 cut off for 32 specialities from 50th to 45th percentile.

How to register for NEET SS mop-up counselling 2020?

Here are the steps which can be followed to register for NEET SS counselling:

• Go to mcc.nic.in/MCCSS

• Click on ‘new registration’ link under online services

• Submit the asked details carefully

• Fill the personal, academic and fill the choices for admission

• Pay the registration fees in online mode

• Take a printout of counselling registration

Note: The choices of colleges as well specialities for NEET SS 2020 counselling must be locked on or before the last date. On failing to make choices, it will be locked automatically.

What after NEET SS 2020 counselling registration?

After the registration and choice filling process, NEET SS seat allotment process will be done. While, the result of NEET SS counselling 2020 mop-up round will be announced on February 4, 2021. NEET SS 2020 seat allotment will be done on the basis of SS rank secured, choices filled, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors. Candidates who will be allotted a seat must report at the respective colleges for completion of the admission process.
