NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - super specialty (NEET SS 2023) exam begins tomorrow. NEET SS 2023 is the single eligibility-cum-ranking exam for admission to various DM/MCh and DrNB super specialty courses.
Candidates appearing for the exam will have to mandatorily carry the NEET SS admit card 2023 to the exam centre. The exam will be held in two shifts - morning shift will be conducted between 9 AM to 11:30 AM and afternoon shift from 2 PM to 4:30 PM.
NEET SS question paper 2023 will have a total of 150 questions. Candidates will get two and a half hours to complete the exam. All questions will be asked from the curriculum of the Post Graduate Exit level of the primary feeder broad specialty subject.
The questions in the paper for any group will cover the general, basic component and all sub-specialty, systems, components of respective primary feeder broad specialty subject.

NEET SS 2023 marking scheme
There will be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

NEET SS 2023 exam pattern
Group based exam: The NEET SS is a group based examination and will consist of questions from only broad specialty primary feeders. Candidates will be able to appear in the any of the super specialty as per feeder subject, unlike previous pattern of examination, where each candidate could opt for only two super specialties. The previous years, the exam paper consisted of 60% questions from super specialty and 40% questions from feeder broad specialty.
All DM, MCh, DrNB courses offered for admission through NEET-SS 2023 are grouped into 13 different groups. There will be a common question paper for admission to all the super specialty courses covered in a particular group ie., there will be 13 different question papers.
