NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the application form for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET 2021) on July 13. The NTA NEET 2021 registration will begin from 5 PM tomorrow in online mode at neet.nta.nic.in.

Dharmendra Pradhan, the new education minister has announced the NEET 2021 exam date today as September 13. NTA will conduct the NEET on the latest exam date, in pen-and-paper mode.

As per the latest news on NEET UG 2021, the number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. Earlier, there were 3,862 NEET exam centres.

Before applying for the medical entrance exam, candidates must keep the relevant documents, certificates and banking details ready for a smooth registration process without making any mistakes.

Here is the list of things which must be kept ready beforehand.

  • Passport and postcard size photograph:

The passport and postcard size photograph should be uploaded in NEET application form 2021, as per the specifications. The photographs should have white background and 80% of the face should be visible. The postcard size photograph should mention the name and date of capturing the photograph.

  • Signature of candidate:

The scanned copy of signature to be uploaded in the application form of NEET 2021 should be signed on white paper with black pen. The signature should not be done in capital letters.

  • Left-hand thumb impression:

The impression of the thumb of the left hand should be printed on white paper using blue ink. In case that is not possible, the right hand thumb impression can be uploaded in the NEET application.

  • Class 10 passing certificate:

The scanned copy of the Class 10 passing certificate should be uploaded as per the specifications.

  • Valid mobile number and email ID:

While registering for NEET 2021, candidates need to enter the valid mobile number and email ID in contact details, as all the NTA messages and notifications will be communicated at the provided details.

  • Class 10, 11 and 12 details:

Students will be required to provide their academic details. The name and address of school, roll number, centre code, year of passing, percentage obtained, subject-wise percentage secured in class 12 and other details should be kept ready before filling the NEET application form.

  • Aadhaar card number and parent's name:

The last four digits of Aadhaar card and correct spelling of father's and mother's name should be filled during NTA NEET registration 2021. The parent's name and Aadhaar card number must be filled carefully.

  • Online payment details:

The application fee of NEET 2021 will be paid through credit or debit card, net banking and UPI payment gateway. All the details like card number, expiry date, bank codes and other information should be kept ready beforehand, which will help candidates to pay the NEET fee without any problem.

Candidates must fill the details in NEET application form 2021 carefully. However, in case of any mistake during registration, the facility of correction window will be available.
