New Delhi: The education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, took to Twitter to announce the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET 2021. The NEET 2021 exam will be held on September 12. The medical entrance exam was earlier scheduled to be conducted on August 1, 2021.

“The NEET application form 2021 will be made available from July 13 from, 5 PM onwards along with the information brochure,” the education minister tweeted. Through NEET-UG 2021 scores, 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH, 1899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats will be granted. Additionally, from this year forth, the scores of the NEET entrance exam will also be used for BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences admissions.
The NEET (UG) 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s).

Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals. can register for NEET 2021.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
Aspirants must have completed a minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission as of 31 December 2021.
