NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced a revision in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG state counselling 2022 on MCC's official website- mcc.nic.in.

MCC released a list of candidates joined in NEET UG 2022 round 1 and round 2 counselling today, November 23, 2022. According to the list released by the MCC, a total of 18,856 candidates have joined round 1 and round 2 of AIQ, deemed, and central universities.

Round-1 of counselling October 10 to 20, 2022 October 17 to October 28, 2022
Last date of joining October 28, 2022 November 4, 2022
Round-2 of counselling November 2 to 14, 2022 November 15 to 24, 2022.
Last date of joining November 22, 2022 November 28, 2022
Mop up round November 28 to December 6, 2022 December 6 to 13, 2022

MCC informed that the candidates that have joined their allotted institutions cannot resign their seat or participate in further rounds of counselling.

In October 2022, the Supreme court asked MCC to follow a strict counselling schedule. “Hence, the state counselling authorities are requested to follow the schedule in letter and spirit to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court and to avoid any contempt in this regard,” a MCC notification read.

Previously the NEET UG state counselling mop up round was to commence today, November 23, 2022. Seat allotted candidates were scheduled to report to their allotted colleges between December 4 and December 10.
