Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Press Information Bureau (PIB) has warned students against a fake notice issued in the name of the National Testing Agency (NTA) claiming that the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 exam has been postponed to September 4. NEET UG 2022 is scheduled to be held on July 17.

The fake notice posing to be from NTA read as ‘Rescheduling the dates for NEET UG 2022’. “In continuation of the public notice dated 6th April, the National Testing Agency has decided to reschedule the dates of National Eligibility Entrance Test, NEET UG 2022 based on the numerous representations received from the candidates,” it read.
“The revised date for the conduct of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) is 4th September, 2022, Sunday,” the fake notice claimed.

It further said that the candidates can contact 011-40759000 or email at neet@nta.ac.in for further clarification.
Aspirants have been demanding postponement of NEET UG 2022 citing lack of time for preparation. Candidates complained about the delay in conducting NEET UG 2021 counselling and the further delay in many states which deprived them of the time to prepare.
