NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the centre-wise and city-wise results for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 today, July 20. Candidates can visit the NEET UG 2024 official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET to access the NEET UG 2024 result. To check the NEET UG 2024 result, candidates will have to select their state, city and look for their centre name and centre number.
The Supreme Court bench, including Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, had directed the NTA to release the results while maintaining the confidentiality of the students' identities.
The apex court is expected to deliver its final verdict on July 22 after reviewing petitions that seek the exam's cancellation, a re-test, and a court-monitored investigation into allegations of malpractice.
NTA conducted the NEET UG 2024 exam on May 5 and the result was announced on June 4, 2024. Based on the data provided by the NTA, 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates took the exam.
The NEET 2024 retest was conducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who had been awarded grace marks for the original exam held on May 5, 2024. The results of this retest were released on June 30, 2024. The NEET 2024 retest was conducted in 7 exam centres - Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh, a Union Territory.
