NEET UG 2024 exam date announced, result in second week of June, says NTA

NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024) exam for MBBS, BDS admission will be conducted on May 5. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET UG exam date 2024 today on the official website, nta.nic.in, along with the exam calendar for the academic year 2024.

The NEET UG 2024 is the single largest entrance exam held in India and is also one of the toughest exams. Every year, more than 18 lakh candidates register for the medical entrance exam, however, last year the number of students who appeared in NEET UG 2024 was over 20 lakh. Aspirants are granted admission to undergraduate medical courses based on the ranks secured in the exam.

The NTA also announced the NEET UG 2024 expected result date. The NEET UG results 2024 will be announced in the second week of June, the NTA said. In addition, it said that all computer-based tests (CBT), JEE Main 2024, CUET UG 2024, UGC NET 2024 exam results will be declared within three weeks after the conclusion of the test.

The NEET UG application form 2024 will be hosted on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, along with the notification. Medical aspirants will have to check the syllabus, eligibility, age criteria and fess details before filling the registration form.

NEET 2024 exam is held by the NTA in pen and paper mode on a single day in several exam centres across the country. Last year, the exam was held in 4,097 different centres located in 499 cities in India and 14 abroad. As per the exam timing, NEET exam 2024 will be held between 2 PM to 5:20 PM.

Students who qualify the NEET exam will have to then participate in the NEET UG counselling 2023 process for admission to government and management medical colleges.
