NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced updated syllabus for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2024). The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced that the NEET UG exam 2024 will be conducted on May 5. Class 12 students who wish to appear in the medical entrance exam will have to prepare as per the revised NEET UG syllabus to score better.

The NEET UG question paper will be prepared broadly based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabi. Every year, the syllabus for the exam is notified after reviewing the syllabus of CBSE, CISCE and several other state educational boards.
As per the revised NEET UG chemistry syllabus, Coordination Compounds and Thermodynamics has the highest weightage. Organic chemistry, equilibrium and solutions chapter in Class 12 also carries more weightage compared to other topics asked in NEET UG 2024.
