NTA opens NEET UG 2026 application process for MBBS, BDS; apply by March 8

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application process for NEET UG 2026 for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programmes. Eligible candidates can apply for NEET UG 2026 through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in. NEET 2026 Registration Begins LIVE.

Candidates looking forward to acquire seats at government and private medical colleges for admission to medicine programmes can apply for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate - 2026 (NEET UG) application window by March 8 at 9 pm.

General category candidates should have to pay Rs 1,700 as registration fee for NEET UG 2026 application form, whereas general- Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC)- Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) can pay Rs 1,600.

Those belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and third gender categories should have to pay Rs 1,000 as NEET UG 2026 registration fee.

NEET UG 2026 exam on May 3

Candidates applying from outside India, the requisite NEET UG 2026 application fee is Rs 9,500. MBBS aspirants must note that the last date to deposit the NEET UG 2026 application fee is March 8 up to 11:50 pm.

The NEET UG 2026 scores are also used for admission to BDS, BVSC, AH, BAMS, BUMS, and BHMS programmes.

Candidates seeking admission to BSc nursing programmes at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2026 should also have to qualify NEET UG 2026.

Notably, the computer-based college entrance test - NEET UG 2026 - score will also be used for admission to four-year Bsc nursing programme. The NEET UG 2026 entrance test will be held on May 3 in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The exam will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes.

NTA NEET UG 2026 in 13 languages

The NEET UG 2026 will be held in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will allow candidates to edit their NEET UG 2026 application form through a correction facility from March 8 to 10.

The NEET UG 2026 application form can only be submitted online through the NTA’s official portal. Candidates should have to upload their recent passport-size photograph, address proof, scanned signature, and other required documents to complete the application process.

“Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians' only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only,” as per the official notification.
