NEET UG: City slips issued, 99.2% get preferred centres; exam in offline mode from 2–5 pm

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG admit card 2026 will be released on April 26. The update was shared through the agency’s official X handle. Candidates will be able to download the NEET UG admit card at NTA’s official website neet.nta.nic.in
Earlier, NTA had already issued exam city intimation slips to registered candidates, informing them about the city of their test centre. NTA said that it allotted 99.2% candidates their first-choice city.
The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on May 3 (Sunday) in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The test will be conducted in offline mode using pen and paper.
While the city intimation slip only indicates the exam city, the admit card will provide complete and essential details required for appearing in the examination.
