NEW DELHI: The counselling body, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET-UG counselling. As per the latest schedule, NEET 2021 counselling round one will begin from January 19, 2022, while the choice filling will start from January 20. The last date for NEET-UG counselling 2021 registration, choice filling is January 24, 2022.

Candidates can register for NEET counselling at mcc.nic.in. NEET counselling 2021 will be conducted for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. As per the latest update, MCC will conduct NEET AIQ counselling in four rounds - round 1, round 2, mop-up round and stray vacancy round.

Login using username, password and security pin
Click on ‘Choice filling’ link
Select the course - MBBS/BDS in which one wants to get admission
Select the number of colleges from AIQ, deemed/central for admission
Candidates can drag their choices to arrange and delete using ‘-’ button
Save the filled in choices and verify them carefully
After verification, click on lock button
It must be noted that NEET counselling choice filling should be locked before the last date. The NEET UG counselling choices will be locked automatically if anyone fails to lock it.
Visit mcc.nic.in
Select ‘UG Counselling’ tab
Click on ‘New registration’ link
Enter roll number, registration number, candidate’s name, date of birth, category, contact and other details
The user ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID
Login using the credentials and complete NEET counselling registration, upload the documents, pay the registration fee, and submit it.
Take a printout of the NEET UG 2021 counselling registration form for future reference
The NEET 2021 exam took place on September 12, and the provisional answer key was released on October 15, 2021. Out of 15,44,275 candidates appeared 8,70,074 students have qualified the exam. The admission to 89,395 MBBS, 27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc, and AH through NEET 2021 counselling. Additionally, 1,899 AIIMS and 249 MBBS seats will be available in AIIMS and JIPMER, respectively.
