NEET UG Counselling 2021: MCC will conduct four rounds of NEET UG and PG 2021 counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and vacant seats.

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notice for candidates who want to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI. Candidates who want to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2021, should send relevant documents in support of their NRI claim to change nationality from Indian by January 2, 2022.
Candidates who have qualified NEET 2021 and are eligible to participate in NEET UG Counselling 2021 and want to convert their nationality can send their documents through email ug.nri.mcc@gmail.com from today December 30, 2021, till 10 AM of January 2, 2022.
“All such candidates are advised to be in touch with the MCC website (mcc.nic.in) for further course of action. Mails received before/ after the stipulated time will not be considered. Candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in single mail only, within the stipulated time,” the MCC notice read.

Candidates have to submit a self-declaration form along with the following documents to be considered for a change in nationality from Indian to NRI.
The MCC recently informed that a plea challenging EWS and OBC reservation in AIQ quota is still pending in the Supreme Court hinting that the NEET UG Counselling 2021 may further delay. MCC also announced a change in the counselling process. MCC will conduct four rounds of counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in NEET UG and PG 2021 and vacant seats will not go back to the state quota after the second round of counselling.
