NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the final results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2021 round one counselling today on February 2,2022. Applicants who have been granted MBBS BDS admissions can check NEET UG counselling results at mcc.nic.in and download the provisional allotment letter after 2 pm.

After downloading the NEET seat allotment letters from the website, selected candidates need to report online/physically to their assigned colleges as per schedule. The reporting module for the college will become available at 2.30 pm.

How to download NEET 2021 counselling final result

  • Go to the official website - mcc.nic.in

  • Select ‘UG counselling’

  • On the home page, click on ‘final result round 1 UG 2021’ link

  • Search the roll number using Ctrl+F keys

  • Verify the details and download the same for future use

As per the MCC NEET counselling 2021 latest notification, the candidates should consult their allotted college directly regarding any questions related to document submission at the time of physical or online reporting. As well, candidates should confirm the admission schedule from the assigned college before reporting along with all original documents.

Earlier, the provisional result was published on January 27, 2022, but the MCC pulled it down due to a court case. The MCC is now treating those results as 'null and void.'

NEET UG 2021 counselling process - Key points

  • The NEET-UG Counselling 2021 result is PDF and includes the roll number, all-India rank, category, college, and remarks.

  • The subsequent round of NEET UG counselling will be held after the first round of seat allotment to fill up any remaining vacant seats. Those candidates who fail to get their desired college can enroll in the second round of counselling.

  • NEET UG 2021 counselling seat allotment is based on the choices of colleges made by candidate, seats available, NEET rank, reservation criteria and other factors.

  • Candidates who get their choice of college in the first round of NEET counselling 2021 will need to submit the required admission fee and verify documents to book the seat. If not, they can float the seat until the second round takes place.

  • Participants will have the option of upgrading or exiting for free after the first round. However, it is only applicable in the first round.

  • In round 2 or later, candidates who join the allotted seat will not be permitted to participate in any further rounds of NEET counselling.

  • Candidates who do not join the assigned seat in round 2 may be eligible for further rounds, subject to forfeiture of their security deposits and new registration of the mop-up round.

The MCC NEET 2021 counselling is for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing seats. As per the MCC notice, NEET UG Counselling 2021 will be held in four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round for the allotment of MBBS and BDS seats to the eligible and qualified candidates.
